We're hiring!

We are currently seeking two part-time booksellers to join our small team here at the bookstore. 

What we're looking for:

Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with the public, takes pride in maintaining a neat and welcoming space, and is capable of multi-tasking. Love of books and conversations about books is a must. Starting pay is $20/hr or more, with experience. Shifts are 8 hours, though we offer some flexibility. We offer paid time off and a 401(k) plan as well as contributions to health insurance following a 60-day probationary period.

Responsibilities include recommending books, greeting and assisting customers, shelving and returns, receiving books, cashiering, working with authors on signings and events, and fulfilling orders. We are a small team and encourage booksellers to contribute to our events or other special programming. 

This is a physically demanding job that requires lifting boxes and shelving books. Booksellers often work solo in the store.
