Black Mountain Circle and Point Reyes Books present an evening with mythologist Martin Shaw.

Martin Shaw brings myths and stories to rouse beauty in troubled times, and introduces his new book, The Night Wages. In troubled times it can be easy to fall into either despair or numbness. Traditionally it was the role of the storyteller to rouse awareness of beauty and vocation in such moments, and attend to the grace. Martin brings myths that remind us of love, grief and the mysteries—provoking our humanity. He will also talk about his new book, The Night Wages, a rumination on the vitality of ancient stories in modern times.

Visit Black Mountain Circle's website for tickets and more information on this and other Geography of Hope events.
