The Wild Book Show "Rain or Shine"
February 20th - March 29th
Artists are invited to submit their WILDEST books to the West Marin Wild Book Show, at G•R•O (GalleryRouteOne) in PointReyesStation. This year’s theme is Rain or Shine. The event is sponsored by GRO and Point Reyes Books to benefit GRO’s Artists in the Schools Program. Books will be for sale through a silent bidding process. Artist will receive 50% of the sales; 50% will help support Artists in the Schools.
How to Enter: This is not a juried show, 50 artist books will be accepted on a “first come” basis, but artists must reserve a space in the exhibition by submitting an Intent to Participate Form. No work will be accepted without this form. Books must follow the Wild Book guidelines. GRO and Point Reyes Books reserve the right to reject books that do not address the theme Rain or Shine or are not safe to handle.
Dates:
Exhibition dates: February 19th - March 28th, 2010
Opening Reception: Sunday, February 21st, 3-5 pm
Closing party and final bidding: Sunday, March 28th, 4-5 pm
