Artist Statement:
For 10 years, I’ve been channeling my love of books (as a child, I read every book in the children’s library and went on to publish books for 30 years) to craft book constructions of all shapes and sizes in venues both public and private. The two ‘mobiles’ here at Pt Reyes books, deliberately arranged in terms of color, size, and shape are the works of authors who have had readings at this very special independent bookstore during its eight illustrious years in Pt Reyes. It is my privilege and great pleasure to make this art for Steve and Kate.
