Langdon Cook, author of Fat of the Land, instructor and lecturer on wild foods and the outdoors, will lead a foraging excursion in picturesque Bolinas, Calif. Participants will learn to identify edible native plants - including stinging nettles, sorrel and fiddleheads – and prepare a simple, rustic lunch with the foraged ingredients. Northern California forager and author Kevin Feinstein (The Bay Area Forager) will join Cook to offer a local’s perspective on harvesting the wild bounty of Marin.
